Quarterly statistics

This report has been developed in association with judiciary and justice sector stakeholders. The report is published every quarter and it presents the volume of people, charges and cases that appear in each of the Youth Court sites. The file breaks down the data to show the gender, age and ethnicity of young people appearing in Youth Court, as well as the number of cases transferred to other courts, and the key orders given in Youth Court. It also shows the number of total cases disposed, Active Cases and Sitting hours for each court each quarter.

Definitions

Many of the terms and definitions used are quite technical. It is recommended that users consult the 'Notes to the report' page within the excel file.

PLEASE NOTE: 
To preserve confidentiality of the Youth Court, all data that appears in this report has been randomly rounded to the nearest multiple of 3.
