Terms and Conditions for Viewing

Permission to view the live stream or to view the recorded hearing is subject to the Supreme Court’s Protocol relating to live streaming of hearings by the Court (the Protocol).

To preserve the integrity of the Court process and to protect the privacy of those involved in the proceeding, every time you access the live stream or recorded hearing you must agree to the terms and conditions for viewing that are set out in the Protocol. If you don't agree to the terms and conditions, you won't be able view the hearing.

The terms and conditions are that you must not record the screen (video) or audio, or any part of it and must not take still photographs.

This includes a prohibition on downloading or capturing, by any means, sounds or images from the video feed (unless you are a member of the media and have obtained permission from the Court to do so).

You must not publish any report of the hearing while it is in progress, including publishing material on social media platforms or other media (unless you are a member of the media and you do this in accordance with the In-Court Media Coverage Guidelines)

You must adhere to Court suppression orders. This includes a prohibition on publishing information on social media.
