2023

74% of judgments on applications for leave to appeal that were delivered in 2023 were delivered within two months from the date of hearing or receipt of last submission.

53% of judgments for substantive appeals that were delivered in 2023 were delivered within six months from the date of hearing or receipt of last submission.

The Chief Justice considers that in 2023 three judgments of the Court were outstanding beyond a reasonable time for delivery. These judgments were delivered before the end of 2023.

97% of judgments on applications for leave to appeal that were delivered in 2022 were delivered within two months from the date of hearing or receipt of last submission.

44% of judgments for substantive appeals that were delivered in 2022 were delivered within six months from the date of hearing or receipt of last submission.
